Description
Here a part of structured landscape in some island ofthe Aegean is depicted. A wide but fragmentary view that is developed at height and displaces the sky from the representative surface is depicted. While the effort of prospect of organisation is obvious, the line maintains at all points the thickness and its intensity. Stressed continuous outline encompasses the level and simplified formes the houses, from which shading is perfectly absent. Of interest is also the alternation between thin and dense lines in regions, such as the paving or the walls of the houses, and as a result some rythm is imported in the composition.
