Registration Steris Gerasimos
(1898-1987)
Biography
Gerasimos Steris was born in Digaleto Kephalonia in 1898. In 1915 he enrolled at the ASKT Athens. He travelled to Europe and from 1919 until 1926 he was in Paris attending courses at the Julien. Academy In 1926 he returned to Greece and got his degree and scholarship together in order to continues his studies in France. In 1927 he left from Greece for Italy and Paris and studied at the University of Fine Arts mural and architecture of internal spaces. He travelled to America and from 1965 until 1975 he taught in Traphagen School of New York. He died in New York in 1987.
