Registration Papadimitriou Efthymis
(1895-1958)
Biography
Efthymis Papadimitriou was born in Athens in 1895. He attended courses of drawing from Epameinonda Kontiadi and Vassilio Chatzi. In 1913 he appeared as a cartoonist in the Athenian daily and periodical press signing with Mim. P. and Mim Pap] From 1917 he turned to engraving where he should be considered as self-taught and from 1922 until 1929 he lived in Paris where he became apprentice as a free listener in academies. He did free lessons of drawing and engraving and in 1958 in became professor of engravingat the ASKT with very few months left to teach though. He died in Athens in 1958.
