Bousianis Yorgos
(1885-1959)

Biography

Yorgos Bouzianis was born in Athens in 1885. He studied painting from 1897 to 1908 at the School of Fine Arts in Athens. In 1906 he received a scholarship to the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich where he studied. In 1929 he went to Paris but did not stay long and soon returned to Munich. In 1934 he returned to Athens where he died in 1959.
