Registration Zoggolopoulos George
(1895-1961)
Biography
Giorgos Zoggolopoylos was born in 1903 in Athens. He early expressed his tendency to drawing and was directed to painting. Studied sculpture at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Athens from 1924 until 1930. In 1937 he travelled to Paris. In 1949 with a scholarship fromthe French government he went to Paris where he worked until 1950. In 1953 as scholar of the institution of Government owned Scholarships he travelled to Italy where she studied technical coppercasting and closer approached works by older and newer sculptists. He died in 2005 in Athens.
